What is Orthopaedic Physiotherapy?

Orthopaedic physiotherapy is a specialized branch of physiotherapy that focuses on the treatment and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal conditions, particularly those related to bones, joints, ligaments, tendons, muscles, and nerves.

Our therapists performing detailed range of motion assessments to ensure proper diagnosis and treatment planning.

At Forte Sports & Orthopaedic Physiotherapy, our physiotherapists have the skills to thoroughly assess, diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions. We use a variety of treatments, including exercises, manual therapy, heat or cold therapy, and education, to help individuals regain mobility and enhance their quality of life.

Whether you're recovering from an injury, managing chronic pain, or seeking to improve overall physical function, our Physiotherapists offer personalized care to support your health and well-being.

Our Approach

Our approach to orthopaedic physiotherapy combines evidence-based practices with individualized care. Each treatment plan is tailored to your specific needs and goals, drawing from a comprehensive toolbox of therapeutic techniques. We emphasize not only treating the immediate symptoms but also addressing the underlying causes to prevent recurrence.

Manual Therapy & Spinal Manipulation

Our physiotherapists are trained in specialized manual therapy techniques to restore proper joint movement and reduce pain in the spine and other joints.

Spinal manipulation helps to address joint restrictions, relieve pressure on nerves, and restore normal mobility. This hands-on approach is particularly effective for conditions like neck and low back pain, disc issues, and joint stiffness.
